Got 20 seconds? Cool. You know that scene from “The Notebook” where Noah asks Allie, “What do you want?” And she she just stares at him? “What do you want?!,” he keeps asking. She doesn’t answer him. She just freezes.
He saw she was stuck in a rut, living a life on autopilot patterns. Yeah, it’s a movie but it’s identifiable.
Noah wanted her to make a choice. One way or another. To declare it. Step into it. Own it. What life do you want?! Who do you want to be?! How do you want to live?!
In the movie Allie eventually answered. She chose what she wanted and she lived it.
Didn’t plan on talking about The Notebook tonight on this post. But it’s what came out when my fingers hit the keyboard. It feels right. I’m into it.
