From Eliud Kipsang on Twitter: Sportsmanship 🫂🫂 These 2 men - Eliud Kipsang of @alabamatrack & Mario Garcia Romo of @olemisstrack - were part of a mile race at Music City Challenge, hosted by @vandyxctrack, where each of the top-10 finishers all went sub-4. Garcia Romo won in 3:53.36, the fastest time ever run by a collegian on an oversized track, while Kipsang was 2nd in 3:54.36. Third place was Jonathan Davis of @illinitrackxc in 3:54.49, as it was just the third time in collegiate history where the top-3 finishers all went sub-3:55.
