🎬 Video Frames // MLB ASG 2021 // My thoughts…when shooting a major event the main thing that runs through my mind is “Be Different”. Everyone at the event has incredible gear so I’m looking for ways to stand out with my composition. Some questions I like to ask myself…How can I find composition within the stadium? Where’s the sun coming from, and how will that effect shadows and lens flares? Can I use a filter to add an artistic look? Can I gain a reaction from a player by chiming in with a fun comment? “Tatis I love the El Niño Chain!” The more your shoot in fast paced environments like this the better you’ll get at it. It’s all about training your creative eye and learning to absorb the situation. Sometimes I’m running a 16-35 other times I’m lurking in the shadows shooting details with a 70-200.
