So at the beginning of this year I really wanted to take a step back from social media and not let my life revolve around it. As important as it is for my job, I needed the mental break and I needed to actually enjoy my life. After a couple months of laying low and not posting anything on Instagram, I got out of the habit of constantly checking my phone to see who was liking or commenting on my photos. I noticed a difference in my mental state, I was genuinely happier and didn’t have the desire to constantly share what was going on in my life. So I kinda just stopped posting and here we are nine months later. As much as I appreciate everyone’s love and support on my work, I’m glad I took this break. I didn’t really have a desire to come back but someone I have a lot of respect for recently told me I needed to start posting again because it was important for my business.
