At this point in my life, I find responsibility in educating and challenging the minds of my platform on the very real issue of race in our country. The fingerprints of black Americans can be found in the greatness of our country’s sports, music, food, education, art. Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. A time to celebrate the freedom of a race that has brought so much to our society.
