Capturing the @oceaniaathletics Men’s 800m @bmathas800 on his way to qualifying for World Champs! A lil of my thought process aside from the internal screaming that occurs for the 1min 45ish seconds of the race. 3 points to capture the action of the race not including the pre race images. My brief: Capture event highlights (event winners/medalists and then some vibes/wholesome moments). Can’t obviously show every image from that race. Also in the back of my mind… shooting conservatively/safe to ensure to get the spread of those who would medal, and conserve energy for the full day. Still got everyone as each federation didn’t bring media team with them.
