Yesterday at Bank of America Stadium in North Carolina, Arsenal continued their promising start to the preseason with a convincing 3-0 victory against Fiorentina. The Gunners have now won two games in the International Champions Cup after beating Bayern Munich on Wednesday and ‘La Viola’ on Saturday. Forward Eddie Nketiah scored against Bayern in the midweek match up and netted a brace against Fiorentina. Arsenal manager Unai Emery deployed a lineup with many youngsters who overall showed great promise. When the starting forwards and attacking players came into the game, Arsenal looked very dangerous, but the backline once again showed its deficiencies as Fiorentina outshot the Gunners 18 to 12.
