Derby Days. Last night at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Atletico Madrid dismantled town rivals Real Madrid by a score of 7-3. Diego Costa put ‘Atleti’ up in the very first minute of play, and Simeone’s men would not let up for the rest of the game. By halftime, Atletico had already put five goals past Thibaut Courtois and things would only get worse in the second half for Real. Diego Costa completed a poker in the 51st minute of play by scoring his fourth goal of the night to make the game 6-0. Nacho pulled a goal back for Real Madrid, but Vitolo made it 7-1 shortly afterwards.
