On Saturday, the LA Galaxy drew 1-1 against the Houston Dynamo at BBVA Stadium. Cristian Pavón put the Galaxy in front early with a laser to the far top corner in the 13’. Pavón cut inside to his right foot and unleashed a perfect strike from the edge of the box to open his scoring account this season. In the 54’, the Houston Dynamo found an equalizer through Mauro Manotas. Right back Zarek Valentin fed a perfect through ball in behind the LA Galaxy back line, and Manotas showed great class with a cool turnaround finish past David Bingham. The LA Galaxy nearly found a winner through none other than Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez in the 65’.
