Homecoming. After months of agonizing wait, Inter Miami fans were finally able to see their beloved team at home for the first time ever. With a group of die-hard fans in the stands, intermiamicf welcomed Atlanta United at home in a pivotal match for both sides. Despite dominating the run of play for much of the game, Miami were unable to find the back of the net until late in the second half. The legendary Brek Shea opened the score for Miami in the 80th minute, but a cool finish by Jake Mulraney three minutes later evened the game at 1-1. Neither team was able to come away with the win in the closing stages of the match, and they ultimately split the points.
