Unruly Guests. The Gold Cup Quarterfinals kicked off last night with Qatar and El Salvador going head to head in Phoenix. Asian champions Qatar got on the scoreboard early, netting two goals in the opening 8 minutes of play. By the 55’, Qatar were up 3-0, but El Salvador made a quick rally to put themselves 3-2. Unfortunately for El Salvador, they were unable to complete the comeback, and Qatar advanced to the semis of the tournament.
