El Diez. Carlos Vela & company are doing alright. Four games, three wins, one tie, ten points and straight to the top of the West. Sunday’s match against Vancouver became an uphill battle from the 12th minute, but thanks to inspired performances from Carlos Vela and Ryan Hollingshead, the black and gold turned a 0-1 deficit into a 3-1 W. Great start to the season for LA, but an even better start for their talisman forward. Four goals in four games for the Mexican international, putting him at the top of the league’s goalscorer list next to Cincinnati’s Brandon Vázquez and Columbus’ Lucas Zelarayán. Performances reminiscent of the Carlos Vela that took MLS by storm in 2019, but only time will tell if we’ll ever see that version of LAFC and their number ten again. For now, though, the 3252 will be happy to see their team back in a form that is truly deserving of their current power ranking positions. It’s good to be back. 📸: @lejendaryphotos #carlosvela #lafc3252 #lafc #lasoccer ...
