For #WomensHistoryMonth, we have had conversations with many women of the Rutgers community about the legacy they are currently building. Meet Duaa Ali, Outreach Coordinator for Rutgers University Muslim Student Association. "Upon initially committing to Rutgers, I can’t say that I had the most joyous attitude about attending. I had a simple plan that consisted of going to class, studying, and getting a degree. Nowhere in this plan did it mention meeting new people or attending late club meetings, let alone getting involved with the Muslim community to the extent that I have. However, if there is one lesson I have come to better understand recently, it is that plans are subject to change. When we allow ourselves to become more open-minded and accept this motto, change becomes almost inevitable.
