I had a simple plan that consisted of going to class, studying, and getting a degree. Nowhere in this plan did it mention meeting new people or attending late club meetings, let alone getting involved with the Muslim community to the extent that I have. However, if there is one lesson I have come to better understand recently, it is that plans are subject to change.
