Full circle moment 🔄:
My college academic advisor told me not to apply to law school. He stated, “No school is going to accept you with these LSAT scores.” He suggested I retest to improve my score and take a year off. While this may have been sound advice for a traditional student, I refused to accept it. With this as my motivator, I finished college in two years and was determined to go to law school right away. After being rejected by a few schools I felt discouraged. Once I finally made peace with taking a gap year, not one, but two schools offered me a scholarship.
I made the decision to attend FAMU LAW 🐍 To my surprise, I performed very well in my first year. 😅
I took a leap of faith and applied to UF Law …and got in. ☺️
