|| Seattle Sounders FC remain in control of their Concacaf Champions League quarterfinal series with Liga MX's Club Le贸n with a 3-0 win at Lumen Field on Tuesday, thanks to a brace from Fredy Montero and a late goal from Jordan Morris. Montero pushed the Sounders up in the first half with two goals in an eight-minute stretch, and Morris added the third off Cristian Roldan's second assist of the game shortly before the final whistle.
Montero scored the game's first goal soon after the half-hour mark when referee Bryan L贸pez gave the Sounders a penalty kick after Roldan was pulled down in the Le贸n penalty area. Montero was able to go up to the area and drill the finish into the top corner as a result. Montero added a second eight minutes later, latching on to a cross from Roldan and deflecting it past Le贸n goalkeeper Rodolfo Cota to give the Sounders a 2-0 lead at halftime.
