In a lot of ways, they helped each other make plays. Sweat had 31 QB pressures on the season, which was a team high. He led the team with 9 sacks and led in every pass rushing stat. Sweat didn’t just make plays rushing the passer though. He was consistently in the backfield in run defense leading the team with 12 tackles for loss and was third on the team in PBUs with 6 (2 of those being tipped for interceptions). Young’s hype overshadowed Sweat a bit, but Young earned that hype at the same time. Overall, Sweat took a big leap in year two and the duo of Sweat and Young will be feared for years to come.
